FLYING SAUCER

Embark on a space adventure where the one who endures wins.

Sometimes we find ourselves in a place we haven't been invited to. Everything is in its place but there is no one in sight, perhaps I arrived too early. The scene is placid, a diaphanous room propped up with pillars and filled with set tables, with their plates and glasses. A large dining hall with no chairs or kitchen in sight.

On the outer diameter, large windows frame the random volumes of the clouds that swirl around us. In the center, an intense and warm light beckons us, but as we approach, the temperature rises noticeably and a menacing hum stops us before crossing it.

At one point, the floor seems to tilt, maybe I'm getting dizzy. I check that the tilt is real and oscillating in behavior. In addition, with each swing, the angle increases on a progressive scale. I don't know where we're going to end up.

At this point, I can only think of two possibilities. The centripetal option is to surrender to the energetic pivot and merge with the core like a burnt moth. The centrifugal alternative involves letting go of the force of gravity, rushing from side to side until the containment gives way and everything explodes.

Let it roll!

Some tips: Keep your balance, avoid the center, run away from extremes. Beware of turbulence, it is getting worse.

MakingOf

Symmetric extrusion of two cones generating a vertical cylinder.

Extend from its center a radially and concentrically segmented disk.

Position at each internal vertex a series of static cylinders of full height with diameter and segmentation increasing towards the exterior.

Interpolate in the intermediate positions another similar series of unanchored cylinders with decreasing height.

Place on top of them in radial arrangement a succession of dented disks in their center and alternated with small cylinders open at their top.

Close the set with two large vertically symmetrical disks and gradually deform their centers in opposite directions with a Gaussian curve.

Start a constant rotation on the vertical axis and gradually add a progressive inclination value until reaching perpendicularity.

Specs

To run this game, you'll need a Windows 10 PC equipped with a Full HD monitor and a GPU that supports Ray Tracing. We apologize for this requirement, but dynamic lighting plays a vital role in the game's visual experience.
